Containing a trio of I-Beam spans, the bridge rests on concrete abutments. The bridge has little decorative feature, unlike the similar bridge crossing Iowa Street.
In 2008, the Iowa River had a severe flood. The road under this bridge was completely flooded.
Overall, the bridge is in good condition. It features few decorative features.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
